Bold Shirts, Quietly Made.
The Legacy of "The Duke"
My style education started with my father, a man so impeccably dressed they called him "The Duke." He taught me that dressing well is an art form. After years of collecting compliments on my own style, I eventually hit a wall in corporate America. A friend pointed out the truth: my wardrobe had become bland, stiff, and colorless.
That was the spark. I didn't just want to go shopping; I wanted to build a brand with bold flavors.
The "Third Thing"
Chuck English was built on one observation: most shirts make you pick a side. You either get personality (loud, novelty-adjacent, "dad-at-a-wedding" vibes) or polish (stiff, corporate, and easy to overlook).
We created a third thing. Shirts with real prints, cut clean enough to wear anywhere. Bold without being loud. Polished without being corporate. Prints with polish.
What We Stand For
-
01 · Bold Shirts: Real prints chosen for scale and drape—never novelty. Every shirt leads with its pattern.
-
02 · Clean Finish: Slim cuts, cotton-first fabrics, and composed tailoring. Polished enough for the office, easy enough for the weekend.
-
03 · Made to Wear: Built for the boardroom, the dinner table, and the rooftop after. One shirt for every occasion a plain one won’t do.
I’m extremely happy to share my passion with you, and would love to thank you for honoring my team by adding a piece of the story to your wardrobe.
